No More
Unless you don’t watch television or don’t follow the news, you’ve probably heard of the attention domestic violence problems have started to get, especially in sports.  This year, Ray Rice, a professional football player in the NFL, caused an enormous uproar throughout fan and non-fans alike of football and brought to light a more important issue.

In response to this issue, CBS, a station that carries football games every weekend, has released a new series of commercials called “no more.”  Stopping domestic violence is obviously the goal of these commercials, which has football players and celebrities saying the words no more followed by typical excuses people may use when overlooking a domestic violence issue.

These commercials really do give light to the bigger issue of domestic violence.  It’s not about making sure football players aren’t treated better and don’t receive special treatment, but rather making sure people know that domestic violence is not OK.

Rarely have I ever seen anything of this kind receive this much attention.  Of course, there are many different ways people speak out against and campaign against crime, but this is a brilliant PR move by CBS and everyone associated with these commercials, as speaking out against domestic violence and standing up for the victims of this unnecessary evil is something that should’ve happened long ago.
